Lafayette v Kentucky

Archie Goodwin is in his second stint in the NBA’s Development League, playing for the Bakersfield Jam. In his first assignment for the Jam he played just two game before being called back up to the Phoenix Suns, averaging 29.5 points and six rebounds per game. He was sent down for three more games, he scored 20 points in 28 minutes Wednesday night.

Friday night his team faced off at home against the Texas Legends. The former Wildcat came off the bench and scored 28 points .Archie added seven rebounds and two steals while playing just under 33 minutes. The Jam were winning most of the game, but the Legends made a late run. Goodwin seal the 112-109 victory with two free throws with two seconds to go in the game.He also did a monster dunk on the Legends’ Devin Ebanks.

The NBA rookie is averaging 3.1 points, 1.7 rebounds and 10.5 minutes while playings for the Suns. The Suns organization seems really excited about Goodwin, just want him to develop and get stronger.
