Former Kentucky guard Archie Goodwin is in his second short-team stint in the NBA’s development league. Saturday night he scored 28 points off the bench for the Bakersfield Jam. Archie added seven rebounds and two steals while playing just under 33 minutes. The Jam were winning most of the game, but the Legends made a late run. Goodwin seal the 112-109 victory with two free throws with two seconds to go in the game.He also did a monster dunk on the Legends’ Devin Ebanks.
Goodwin is only supposed to be with the Jam for one to two more games and the back with the Phoenix Suns.
The NBA rookie is averaging 3.1 points, 1.7 rebounds and 10.5 minutes while playings for the Suns. The Suns organization seems really excited about Goodwin, just want him to develop and get stronger.
