Former Louisville power forward Chane Behanan is heading to Colorado State. Behanan was released from UofL for breaking university rules. He was in and out of coach Rick Pitino’s doghouse most of the time at Louisville.
After leaving Louisville Behanan went to Texas to spend some time at the John Lucas Treatment and Recovery Center. Many athletes have spent time there to deal with off the court issues.
“I am extremely excited to have Chane enrolled at Colorado State,” CSU coach Eustachy said in a school release. “It is a great fit for both of us. He is a tremendous kid, and I really enjoyed getting to know him during his brief visit to Fort Collins.”
“Chane is one of most talented players in the country, and he will be a key addition to our program next season. He has excelled at the highest level of collegiate athletics and there is no doubt that he will be one of the highest profile players to ever compete on the hardwood for the Rams.”
He will be eligible to play December 14th for CSU.
