Daniel Orton Has Double-Double In NBA D-League Game

Former Kentucky Wildcats center Daniel Orton had 26 points and 16 rebounds Wednesday night while playing for the Maine Red Claws. He also had two assists and a steal in just over 31 minutes of play. The Red Claws lost to Rio Grande Valley Vipers, 128-113.

Orton has played in 16 games for the Red Claws this season. he is averaging 9.3 points and 7.1 rebounds per game.

The former Wildcat played for the 76ers in 22 games this season before being sent down to the D-League. He averaged three points and 2.8 rebounds per game.

Orton has bounced around a little since being drafted in 2010 by the Orlando Magic in 2010. He played one year with the Magic and then went to Oklahoma City.
