ESPN Bracketology has been updated early this morning by Joe Lunardi. The man has Florida as the overall #1 seed with Arizona, Villanova and Wichita State the remaining one seeds.
Here locally, Lunardi has Louisville as a 4-seed playing Stephen F. Austin. Win that match up to face either St. Louis or Louisiana Tech and from there you have the easiest one seed in Villanova and a not great two seed in Duke meaning a very winnable East Region for UofL.
Down 64 East, Kentucky is struggling as of late, now is seeded 7th taking on Pittsburgh in the Midwest Region. Pull out a victory against the Panthers to take on the winner of Kansas/Utah State which would probably be the Jayhawks, my midseason pick to win it all.
There is more to this Monday’s edition to Bracketology as a local newcomer has entered the bracket. Our friends at Eastern Kentucky have spoiled a bubble teams hopes by upsetting Belmont in the OVC Championship game to earn an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament. The Colonels are projected as a 15-seed in the East Region who would face Duke.
