Former Wildcat Avery Williamson Had Solid NFL Combine


Departing senior linebacker Avery Williamson had himself a solid performance during his time at the NFL Combine. The former Kentucky Wildcat measured out at 6’1, 246lbs with a 30 1/2 inch vertical leap.

Williamson ran an official 4.66 40-yard dash, which was his second attempt. His first run timed a unofficial 4.56 which was still be seen by scouts and will help his draft status. His official time placed him 6th for fastest forty times by linebackers.

Williamson hit the bench, pushing up 225lbs 25 times which tied 7th amongst LB’s and timed the fastest shuttle at 4.07. Only 13 of the participants ran the shuttle but still a quick time.

Overall, Avery Williamson totaled out ranked 309th, 14th for the linebackers and is projected to be drafted 7th-free agent. Here’s a look at his board thanks to CBS.
