Long term point guards are hard to come by in the NBA. You fi d one here and there for a few seasons before bringing in a new guy. Not so much for the Washington Wizards and their point guard John Wall.
Wall is in his 4th professional season after his one-and-done year at Kentucky where he lead his team to the NCAA Elite Eight. Currently, Wall is having his best NBA season. Averaging 20 points, 8.7 assists and 4.2 rebounds for his 31-28 Wizards.
This past week Wall was honored as the NBA Eastern Conference Player of the Week. He averaged a double-double, 25 points and 10.7 assists during three wins over Orlando, Toronto and Philadelphia.
Congrats to the former Wildcat and good luck as the Wizards look to be a playoff team. Here is a highlight reel of Wall putting in work.
For anyone wondering, James Harden of the Houston Rockets claimed the Western Confernce honor.
