The Kentucky Wildcats came out Saturday afternoon a bit rusty after not playing since last Saturday when they lost to North Carolina on the road. Belmont came out shooting the lights out and went into the half beating No.19 Kentucky in Rupp Arena, 43-41.
In the end Julius Randle, who scored a career high 29 points, was just too much for the Ohio Valley team.
Kentucky began passing the ball better and controlling the tempo in the second-half and outscored Belmont 52-37 in the half. Still a lot to work on for the young Wildcats before playing rivals Louisville at home next Saturday.
