Dupree has been a starter for Kentucky since halfway through his freshman year. This year he led the team with seven sacks. He also had 61 total tackles this past season.
“We are very excited that Bud has decided to return,” Coach Mark Stoops said. “Obviously this is big for our team as we are counting on his leadership in the 2014 season. In regard to his future, I believe that Bud will benefit greatly with another year of development on the field, in the weight room and in his academics.”
Smith came to UK this year from East Mississippi Community College as one of the best JUCO ends in the country. He had 59 total tackles and six sacks in his first year for the Wildcats.
