The Kentucky Wildcats have lost to the Louisville Cardinals the past three seasons, but don’t tell UK offensive coordinator Neal Brown that. Brown thinks Kentucky is the best team in the state.
Brown says UL doesn’t wanna hear it but “we’re the show in town, in the state” and this staff sells that fan fervor to revruits.

Now I get it. He is rallying BBN and getting them excited for Saturday’s spring game. I also respect how well Stoops Troops have done on the recruiting trail, it is something that is very impressive. But to say Kentucky is the show in town is just silly.
Kentucky has not been to a bowl game since 2010 when they lost to Pitt in the Compass Bowl, 27-10. Louisville has been to four straight bowl games, beating the likes of Miami and Florida in convincing fashion.
The Wildcats will come into the season with just a little bit higher expectations than last year, BBN understands that it will take a little bit before Stoops can get a team to compete in the SEC. Louisville will have some amazing talent returning and of course Mr. Bobby Petrino.
Bobby never lost to Kentucky in his prior four years as head coach of the Cardinals. He even beat the Cats 59-28 in 2006.
Coach Brown might have excited the fan base, but he also gave the Cardinals some great bulletin board material.
