The Kentucky Wildcats offered 2015 5-star power forward Cheick Diallo Tuesday. Diallo was recruited by coach Barry Rohrssen when he was at Pitt. The 6’9″ Our Savior New American School star also has offers from Louisville, UConn, Kansas and Arizona.
Diallo is considered the second-best PF and the sixth-best player in the 2015 class by 247Sports.com. Rivals.com has him as their ninth-best player.
Scout.com says of him:
Diallo is very quick off the floor and possesses superb timing for blocks and rebounds. He uses his angular, balanced frame to knife between foes trying to block him out, and as such he’s one of the most persistent offensive rebounders in the country. The Mali native also can score on short turnarounds and facing jump shots, but he’s at his best doing the dirty work inside and swatting shots. His next step is to improve his offensive refinement.
Kentucky already has a very talented guard in Charles Matthews for their 2015 class. Who knows how many Calipari will go after with the new trend of his players coming back.
