Kevin Ware is heading to Georgia State after visiting with the Panthers this week, according to 247Sports.com. The former Louisville guard will play with former Kentucky Wildcats guard Ryan Harrow, both of them played on the same AAU team.
Ware wanted a team that is closer to his family, he went to Rockdale High School in Georgia.
The 6’3″ guard will be a nice addition to Georgia State, who was one game away from making the NCAA Tournament last season.
Hopefully Ware can stay healthy and have a great career. He is hoping to have two years of eligibility if he is granted a medical red-shirt for the 2013-14 season. Ware of course sustained that gruesome leg injury against Duke in the Elite Eight last year and was unable to play much for Louisville last season after another leg injury.
