It has been thirteen days since the Louisville Cardinals played the Temple Owls in Philadelphia and won easily, 82-58. Sophomore power forward Montrezl Harrell led the Cardinals in a career game of 22 points, 10 rebounds and four blocks. It is also the game that Coach Rick Pitino and his team began their beard growing.

Louisville is not shaving until they lose, which almost came to an end Saturday against No.7 Cincinnati.

Temple has struggled with their very tough schedule, with a record of 7-19, 2-12 in AAC. They did upset No.23 SMU at home last week, 71-64.

Tipoff for Thursday night’s game will be 9:00pm on ESPN2 in the KFC Yum! Center. Louisville will they go on the road to face two ranked opponents in Memphis and SMU, then ending their regular season at home against UConn.

This will be a quick win for the Cardinals before they move into some really tough games. They just need to stay focused.

Russ Smith will lead the Cards in scoring with 23, he will also add four assists and two steals.

Wayne Blackshear will lead Louisville in rebounds with seven.

Montrezl Harrell will make it on Sport Center’s top ten with a crazy dunk in transition.
