New coach, new conference, new quarterback and even some new black uniforms. There is a ton of reasons why Louisville Cardinals fans should be excited about the 2014 season. Now how about one of the toughest schedules in the country and some amazing home games. Yep, this could be a season to remember for a long time.
The biggest game on the schedule is a Thursday night home game on ESPN against the defending champs, Florida State. They will be bringing their Heisman trophy winning QB and probably a No.1 ranked team into Papa John’s Cardinal Stadium Oct. 30th. Will that be when Louisville brings out their new black uniforms?
“It’s very exciting and it’s very challenging,” Petrino said on the schedule. “To be able to open on Monday night on national TV with Miami at home is something that certainly will be a motivating factor for us throughout the offseason and through the summer and a great rematch of the bowl game, so that will definitely be a challenge.”
