USC quarter back Max Wittek announced he was transferring from USC last week is now talking to Texas, Ohio State and Louisville. The Cardinals already picked up one QB transfer in Penn State’s Tyler Ferguson, who will be eligible to play in 2015. Wittek sat out last season and will be a redshirt junior next year after sitting out his freshman year, although he will graduate at the in the spring from USC.

Wittek was a 4-star QB coming out of high school. He went 50-95 for 600 yards with three touchdowns and six interceptions in his career at USC.
Charlie Strong has a definite need at QB next season in Texas and will apparently be getting a visit from Wittek soon. Petrino has Gardner and some other quality QB’s on the roster including incoming freshman Reggie Bonnafon.
It will be interesting to see what happens here.
