Ohio State, Penn State, Virginia Tech, Michigan State, Rutgers; those are just some of the D-I schools who have offered 2015 running back Andre Robinson. Now you can add the Louisville Cardinals to that list. Bobby Petrino extended an offer to the 4-star back from Harrisburg, PA. Thursday.

Robinson is considered the 12th-best back in the 2015 class by 247Sports.com. Scout.com has him as the 14th-best running back.

Scout.com‘s Brian Dohn says of the 5’10″, 200 lbs. prospect:

Robinson has good burst, tremendous balance and plays with a low center of gravity and is physical. He is hard to bring down on first contact, and trying to arm tackle him is usually fruitless. He has good vision and feet, and understands how to be patient on a run and also has good vision to see holes even where a play is not blocked. The biggest thing Robinson needs to improve is lowering his pad level.

According to MaxPreps.com, the junior RB had 2,338 yards rushing and 29 TDs on the ground last season at Bishop McDevitt High School. He has 72 total touchdowns in his three years of high school, 63 of which were done on the ground.

Bobby Petrino and company have hit the ground running when it comes to recruiting the 2015 class. They have extended several offers already and each offer is to very talented juniors. I would not be surprised if the 2015 class is the best in Louisville football history.
