Bobby Petrino inherited a lot of talent for the 2014 roster, but there was some questions at the safety position after losing players like Calvin Pryor and Hakeem Smith. Petrino now has three JUCO safeties coming in after Carl Williams from Eastern Arizona College committed to Louisville Saturday night, according to Mike Hughes of InsideTheVille.com.

Williams is the 16th-best JUCO safety in the country according to 247Sports.com. He was originally committed to South Alabama out of high school, he was considered the 58th-best safety in the 2011 class by ESPN.com.

The 6’0″ 210 lbs. Williams had interest from Arkansas, Kentucky FSU and Georgia. Although does not appear to have any offers from those schools.

Williams had more than 50 tackles in seven games last season for Eastern Arizona, he also had one interception.
