The 10-1 Louisville Cardinals start their long road trip in Miami, Fla. to play the 8-4 Florida International Panthers Saturday night. The Cards are on a five game winning streak, beating a very good Missouri St. team at home Tuesday night, 90-60. Louisville Splash_1

The game will be a white out.

FIU lost their first two games, but have played well only losing to South Carolina on the road last month.

The Cardinals will be without freshman Akoy Agau, who was announced to be suspended indefinitely Friday afternoon. Guard Kevin Ware has a hurt right shin, not sure if he will play or not.

The story of the game will be FIU’s Rakeem Buckles who was a Louisville Cardinal from 2009-2012. His career at UofL was filled with several injuries. He followed Richard Pitino down to FIU, he attempted to transfer to Minnesota when Richard left, but was blocked by the NCAA. He is averaging a double-double this season with 14.7 points and 10.5 rebounds per game. He is also averaging almost two blocks inĀ  29.4 minutes.
