eku colonel Preparing Your Bracket: Who Are The Eastern Kentucky Colonels   The Eastern Kentucky Colonels are heading to the “Big Dace” after winning the Ohio Valley Conference Tournament over Belmont Saturday. This will be the first time EKU has made it to the NCAA Tournament since 2007.

Eastern Kentucky has made seven trips to the tournament, but has never won a game.

Joe Lunardi of ESPN.com has EKU as a 15-seed playing Duke in the first-round. Jerry   Palm of CBSSports.com also has the Colonels at a 15-seed, but has them playing Michigan in the first-round.
