The Twins will announce that they have decided to return to Kentucky for their second season in hopes to win a National Championship. Aaron, the point guard of the two averaged 10.9 points, 4.0 assists and 3.2 rebounds for the Wildcats. Head coach John Calipari mentioned over the last 48 hours that one of his ‘tweaks’ was to have Andrew pass more. It obviously worked as the team turned things around heading into the SEC tournament.
As for Andrew, he averaged 13.7 points, 3 rebounds and 1.9 assists during his freshman season. He went down in NCAA tournament history by knocking down not one but two game winning three point shots against Wichita State and Wisconsin.
Looking at the potential roster for 2014-15 as of today, minus James Young and Julius Randle who both are going pro. Kentucky will have Aaron and Andrew Harrison, Alex Poythress, Devin Booker, Dakari Johnson, Derek Willis, Dominique Hawkins, Karl Towns Marcus Lee, Trey Lyles, Tyler Ulis and Willie Cauley-Stein.
That would be ten McDonald’s All-Americans and what seems to be 10 future NBA players. As Calipari always says, “I like my team.”
