According to what appears to be a very legitimate twitter account the next Head Coach at the University of Texas will be Charlie Strong.
During Strong’s four seasons with the University Of Louisville he compiled a 37-15 record.
His two most memorable victories will be remembered as the Sugar Bowl victory over the highly favored University of Florida in January of 2013 and the Russell Athletic Bowl victory over Miami in December of 2013.
It seemed like a decision would not be made on the next coach at Texas until Saturday, but with the wonderful world of social media, Texas fans got a late Christmas present in Charlie Strong. Now, the search will be on to find a replacement at the University of Louisville. Tom Jurich will have his work cut out for himself, as he will have rather large shoes to fill for the Cardinal’s next head coach.
The KYSCO family wishes Charlie the best of luck. The Texas job is a HUGE opportunity, and as far as I’m concerned, Charlie is a perfect fit for the position.
