Report: Kevin Steele To Be Named Louisville Defensive Coordinator

According to Brett McMurphy of ESPN, Bobby Petrino will bring in Kevin Steele as his defensive coordinator at Louisville. Steele has been a coach for 33 years, including being the head coach at Baylor for four years.

He was most recently in charge of player personnel at Alabama. Before that he spent three years before that at Clemson as the defensive coordinator and linebacker coach. He has worked under Nick Saban, Bobby Bowden and Tom Osborne, which is a nice group of coaches.

Names of other coaches on Petrino staff are coming out quickly. Courier-Journal has a nice list HERE.

Former Florida State corner back Terrell Buckley is the latest to be announced as the corner back coach. He is currently at Akron with the same position.
