The Louisville Cardinals won the American Athletic Conference Championship pretty handily, beating UConn by ten Saturday night. Sunday at 6pm the committee will release the official 2014 NCAA Tournament bracket. Where does Rick Pitino think the Cardinals will end up, “We will probably get a No.1 seed.” He told ESPN’s Andy Katz after the game.

Louisville has to be judged by the way their playing now. The “eye test” and not what the papers say is what is going to help the Cards.

If your just look at how Louisville did in the AAC conference tournament; they beat Rutgers by 61, Houston by 29 and then No.21 UConn by ten. That is an average scoring margin of 33, in a conference tournament where teams are playing their best that is impressive.

Palm has Louisville at a three seed, Lunardi a four as of this morning. That was before Arizona went down.

We shall see what the committee thinks in less than 24 hours, fans should be excited regardless.
