The 7-foot junior is considered the best center in his class by most recruiting sites. 247Sports.com has him as their third-best player in the 2015 class, ESPN.com has him as their 4th-best player.
He has offers from several top Division-I schools including Arizona, Kentucky, Indiana, Kansas, UNC and UCLA. Louisville offered last summer and has visited him a handful of times.
ESPN.com says of Zimmerman:
Zimmerman is the most skilled big man in his class. At the high post he can be deadly due to his passing acumen and shooting touch from the elbow. His shot and release are smooth out to the 3-point stripe.
