Super Bowl Sunday was a good day for the Louisville football program. With several impressive recruits in town this weekend, it was only a matter of time for someone to pull the trigger. And three did just that.

Charles Standberry, a 6’3″ WR/TE, was committed to Ole Miss until today. He is considered the 39th-best tight end in the 2014 class by 247Sports.com. He had offers from Boise State, Mississippi State, Louisiana State, WKU and several other schools.
According to MaxPreps.com, he had almost 1,800 yards in 147 catches and 21 total touchdowns for Carver High School his senior season.
Trumaine Washington, a 3-Star defensive back from Miami, Fla., also committed to the Cards. The 5’10″ speedster had offers from WKU, Purdue, Syracuse, FIU and other D-I schools.
247Sports.com considers him the 99th-best CB in the 2014 class.
Quincy McKinney also committed. McKinney is a JUCO offensive guard from Hutchinson (Kan.) C.C.. He is considered the 5th-best JUCO OG in the 2014 class by 247Sports.com. He picked Louisville over NC State, Kansas State, Arizona State and more.

There are other visitors over the weekend who enjoyed their visit. Like Wisconsin commit Cornelius Sturghill, who ESPN considers him the 94th-best wide receiver in the 2014 class. Scout.com has him as the 112th-best corner back.
