Terry Rozier was barely a top 100 recruit in the 2012 when he committed to Louisville, which was his dream school. He did have offers from Dayton, Illinois and Georgia. The Cleveland, Ohio native is the cousin of former Louisville big man Zach Price who recently transferred to Missouri.
Rozier was a star at Shaker Heights High, but needed one more year to work on academics in order to come to Louisville. He joined another future Cardinal 2013 commit Anton Gill at Hargrave Military Academy.
Now at Louisville Rozier has played very well, especially his ability to rebound from the guard position. Sunday night against Rutgers he scored hi new career high of 16, showing off his ability to stoke it from outside. CBS Sports’ writer Jeff Borzello was in the KFC Yum! Center for the first time and had an interesting conversation with an NBA scout.
Texting with a scout right now — we both agree that Terry Rozier is the clearly the best NBA prospect on the Louisville roster.

Most people would probably say Montrezl Harrell or All-American senior Russ Smith. Rozier does have great length and athleticism, he has also been working on his shooting.
The 6’1″ guard currently averages 6.7 points, 3.2 rebounds and 1.9 assists while playing just under 20 minutes per game. He has a lot of upside and still has some skills that he probably has shown yet.
