Gorgui Dieng has had a couple of nice blocks the past couple weeks for the Minnesota Timberwolves. The 6’11″ former Cardinal had another one Tuesday night against the Lakers, blocking the Lakers Ryan Kelly who was trying to drive in for a layup in the second-quarter.
Dieng had four points, three rebounds, two steals and just the one block. He played a total of eight minutes, but helped the Timberwolves win, 109-99.
The rookie center is averaging 1.6 points, two rebounds and 0.6 blocks per game this season.
