Wayne Blackshear will not travel to Houston for Wednesday night’s game, according to WDRB’s Eric Crawford. Blackshear apparently suffered a concussion in practice. This is something that Louisville has gotten used to, some players wore UFC helmets in practice last season.

Blackshear was moved to the four last game and was expected to start at the same position against Houston. Pitino was hoping to get more scoring in a smaller lineup. Mangkok Mathiang will likely start at the center position and Montrezl Harrell will go back to power forward.
This is one of those instances that we miss Chane Behanan. There a lot of depth on this year’s Louisville team, but with injuries and the Behanan predicament it is dwindling.
