Julien Lewis, a 6’3″, 275 lbs. from Bob Jones High School in Alabama, has committed to the Western Kentucky Hilltoppers according to Scout.com. Lewis is the 21st commitment for WKU in the 2014 class.
He picked WKU over Air Force.
Lewis had 69 tackles, 21 quarterback hurries, 20 tackles for a loss, seven sacks and five forced fumbles in his senior season with Bob Jones.
His coach Kevin Rose said this earlier this month to AL.com,
“Even though he has an offer from Western Kentucky, I think he’s better than that,” Rose said. “He’s playing at the highest level of football in the state of Alabama. I feel like he’s a late bloomer. You can look at him, he’s kind of baby-faced. I think he’s going to get a lot bigger, stronger and faster.”
